Preschoolers ASL

January 10th, 2008

Last year, Preschoolers made ASL such an even more beautiful language! Kerry Hile, the ASL Director, was determined and motivated to give the Preschoolers a seed to grow in their first language, ASL.

Name Stories

The preschoolers were given an exciting opportunity to give ASL stories in three categories: Name Stories, “1 to 5″ Stories, and Handshape Stories. You are about to see some selected clips, and we truly wish that we can show you all of the ASL clips of the students online.

However, if you want to see more ASLclips, feel more than free to ask Kerry Hile, the ASL Director, or Mary Visco, the Media Director for viewing the DVD. As for the whole ASL storytelling video project, the students involved were: Jose Alvarez, Camille Andrade, Dilan Bashaw, Rayzele Booth, Jacey Coons, Alyssa Duarte, Zane Hencker, Nicholas Larizza, Zarek Nathanson, Azeb Visco, Hannah Weiss, Isabelle Williams and Enos Zornora.

Once again, we must thank the parents of last year’s Preschoolers and the Technology & Training Department for their amazing support and involvement.

Last, ASL is a beautiful language for everyone including Preschoolers!
