Step 1: Complete an application packet
Instructional Applications can be downloaded. A completed instructional application packet must be mailed, received, and processed for the applicant to be eligible for employment consideration.
Application Packet Requirements:
- Completed instructional application
- Letter of interest
- Personal resume
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts
- CTC credential
- CBEST
*Applicants with valid out-of-state credentials may be given up to one year to pass the CBEST and acquire appropriate California credentials.

Step 3: Interview Process
Applicants for instructional positions will be reviewed by Instructional Management Team (IMT). Suitable candidates will be invited for an interview. Applications are reviewed to determine the most suitable candidates for current and anticipated vacancies.
Applicants will be selected for an interview only after the completed application, all supporting documents, and credential status have been reviewed.
Step 4: Offer of Employment
Principals and the interview panel will recommend successful candidates. CSDR administration will contact candidates with an employment offer.
