Division of Instruction

Welcome to CSDR’s Division of Instruction. My name is Alyce Berard and I have been a part of CSDR’s family for more than three decades. I am proud to be a part of our school’s past, present, and future and it’s commitment to excellence for all students.

Our Instructional Division consists of the following departments: Early Childhood Education, Elementary, Middle School, High School, Career Technical Education, Special Needs, Physical Education, Curriculum, and Technology and Training Services.

Our goal is to provide graduates with all of the skills required to value academic success, character, leadership skills, sensitivity to others, and a passion for lifelong learning.

All students enrolled at CSDR are exposed to a balance of both American Sign Language and English literacy, which is essential for academic, intellectual, and social growth.

Throughout our Instructional Division, we promote excellence in teaching, and in learning for all students, by promoting a collaborative culture where teachers and other staff members work together to focus on student learning and academic success.

Character Counts, a character education program, is integrated throughout our program, promoting a climate of respect and responsibility in the classroom and throughout the CSDR campus.
