CAC is the eyes of CSDR
…and we are all “ears!”
We are CSDR’s Community Advisory Committee (CAC) Team! It is our priority to examine how CSDR programs and services affect all students—from the youngest children enrolled in the Parents Infant Program (PIP) to those students preparing to leave high school—it is our belief that all children who come to CSDR enjoy learning and can excel in a positive educational environment.
Team CAC consists of twelve parents, nine staff members, and three individuals representing community organizations, all of whom share something in common: a stake in CSDR’s students and programs. Together the CAC members and the CSDR administration work to make sure that every child soars academically, physically, socially and emotionally each and every day. And we want you to join our team!
We need to have your involvement and feedback to properly represent you at the monthly meetings. Your insights are welcomed and the committee encourages you to meet with the most appropriate representative listed at the bottom of this page. Topics at meetings vary, but each issue brought before the committee can always benefit from your personal experience and insight. One person can make a difference. You can become involved by attending school events, reading the CAC newsletter or our section on the website, or just jotting down questions, comments and ideas you may have related to the school.
CAC has an exciting team and with Superintendent Grossinger “coaching” us, we are sure to raise the academic standards for CSDR students. Through his leadership, his knowledge of deaf education, and his never-ending enthusiasm we know our team can’t be beat! But we can always use more players and would be thrilled with your involvement. So step up to bat and join us!
