Regardless of communication modality or educational placement, parents want their children to be successful. Preparing for college, work, and a fulfilling personal life begins with the earliest grades. What children see, learn, and experience becomes the foundation for the skills they will use throughout their lives.

Learn about The Transition Skills Guidelines (TSG). During the workshop family members will learn how the TSG can help them to keep track of what skills your child has acquired and what skills still need to be developed. The TSG identifies key knowledge and skills that our children need to transition successfully from kindergarten through Grade

12 and beyond.

In addition, get updates on Deaf Education Reform, learn about STAR testing (is your child on track?), and participate in our general membership meeting. Come for a day of learning and sharing.

Registration Fee will increase $10 at Midnight Pacific March 28th 2008.
